After a bachelor in Tourism (specialised in Business Travel Management) in Louvain-la-Neuve, Frédéric Degand has started his career with AMEX GBT in Brussels in 1996, and started to dedicate his talents to the corporate world since 1998, when joining Inter IKEA Group (Waterloo, Belgium) providing internal travel services to all travellers and companies of the group, based in Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, Singapore, Dubai. He brought his support to many new IKEA store developments through hotel selections and management of large group bookings around the world (Turkey, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Dominican Republic) and for the Inter IKEA Systems BV training center in Delft, The Netherlands.
Since 2018, he has proposed his services as a free-lance business travel expert and helped global corporations (such as Aliaxis in Brussels) to manage their travels and support their individual and group travellers on a daily basis.
He has also been involved with managing virtual, face-to- face and hybrid medium and large events working with Composite Events.
Frédéric is a happy father of 3 (born in 2016, 2017 and 2019), lives in Brabant Wallon, where he was born in 1972 and has been an inspired music composer (electronic music programming) since 1985, when he was 12.
